Peter Millar E-Gift Card Terms & Conditions

These terms and conditions govern the use of any E-Gift cards (“E-Gift Cards”) purchased through www.petermillar.co.uk (the “Website”). The E-Gift Cards you purchase are authorised and issued by our third party provider, Clutch, and you will receive an email notifying you of your successful purchase of an E-Gift Card from Peter Millar. Clutch is a E-Gift and loyalty technology platform which provides the technology required to operate our E-Gift Card offering.

1. E-Gift card purchasing

  • 1.1. To purchase an E-Gift Card, on the E-Gift card page of the website, please select the value of the E-Gift Card you would like to purchase and add the item to your shopping basket.
  • 1.2. The minimum amount to purchase a E-Gift Card is £50. The maximum amount that can be purchased on to a E-Gift Card is £1,000, which may be subject to change from time to time and in different amount options.
  • 1.3. To send a E-Gift Card directly to a recipient via email, fill in the requested information on www.petermillar.co.uk/p/peter-millar-e-gift-card/EGCPM.html including your name and email address and E-Gift message. Click add to bag and then follow the on-screen steps to complete the checkout process.
  • 1.4. Once the E-Gift Card purchase is complete, an email with the E-Gift Card is sent to the requested recipient to the email address provided during the checkout process. This email will include a code for the E-Gift Card which is to be used on redemption of the E-Gift Card value (the “E-Gift Card Number).
  • 1.5. No physical E-Gift Card will be provided. All E-Gift Cards purchased on the Website will be delivered to the recipient by electronic delivery only.
  • 1.6. E-Gift Cards are valid for a period of twelve (12) month from the date of purchase. Any remaining balance left on the E-Gift Card after twelve (12) months will be removed and the card will be invalid and no longer available for use.
  • 1.7. E gift cards are not available for purchase or use by customers located in Europe or the United States of America.

2. E-Gift Card Redemption

  • 2.1. E-Gift Cards may only be used to make purchases across the Website in Pound Sterling only. E-Gift Cards may not be redeemed via telephone. E-Gift Cards cannot be used as a payment method for any orders delivered to the United States of America or any European country.
  • 2.2. Where a E-Gift Card has been purchased via the Website, you may redeem full or partial value of the E-Gift Card. Once you have completed your shopping and are ready to checkout, enter the E-Gift Card Number, Pin at www.petermillar.co.uk/begin-checkout?stage=payment#payment select Apply and ‘Complete secure checkout’.
  • 2.3. Continue to proceed with the checkout process as prompted on screen and the value of the product will be automatically deducted from your purchase.
  • 2.4. Only three E-Gift Card redemptions per purchase on the Website is permitted.
  • 2.5. When your E-Gift Card is used on the Website, the amount of your purchase will be deducted from the balance on the E-Gift Card. If your purchase totals less than the value of the E-Gift Card, any balance will be left as credit for you on your E-Gift Card to spend at a future date, provided the E-Gift Card has not expired. Additional value cannot be added to an existing E-Gift Card and change will not be given.
  • 2.6. Information about the remaining balance on your E-Gift Card can be obtained from the Peter Millar website: Please go to Check Your Balance page for customers to reference remaining balances.

3. Other terms applicable to E-Gift Cards

  • 3.1. An E-Gift Card is non-exchangeable, is not a credit or charge card and is not a cheque guarantee. An E-Gift Card cannot be redeemed on any other website or platform other than Peter Millar platform in the UK. E-Gift Cards cannot be used to purchase E-Gift Cards.
  • 3.2. If you wish to return a E-Gift Card after purchase, you have the right to request a cancellation of this E-Gift Card within 14 days after the day on which you purchase the E-Gift Card (the “Cancellation Period”). In the event you spend part of the E-Gift Card and you request a cancellation of the E-Gift Card within the Cancellation Period, we will only refund the unspent portion of the E-Gift Card. Such refund shall be only sent directly to the purchaser of the E-Gift Card. This does not affect your statutory rights.
  • 3.3. If you wish to return a product purchased using a E-Gift Card, you are entitled to request such a refund in accordance with clause 13 of our Conditions of Sale. Please note any approved refund will be returned to the balance on your E-Gift Card.
  • Exchanges or refunds related to E-Gift Card purchases are not available for customers located in Europe.
  • 3.4. A lost or stolen card cannot be replaced, refunded, cancelled, blocked, restricted in any way or exchange for a new E-Gift Card.
  • 3.5. Peter Millar shall not be responsible for any use of the funds on your E-Gift Card without your knowledge or consent.
  • 3.6. Peter Millar reserve the right to refuse to accept any E-Gift Card which we consider has been tampered with, copied or which otherwise is suspected to be affected by fraud, or where Peter Millar has not received payment from you for the purchase of the E-Gift Card in question.
  • 3.7. The resale of E-Gift Cards is strictly prohibited.
  • 3.8. Peter Millar, as applicable, will not be liable, in contract, tort (including, without limitation, negligence), pre-contract or other representations (other than fraudulent or negligent misrepresentations) or otherwise out of or in connection with these terms and conditions for any direct, special, incidental, indirect or consequential damages including loss of profit, loss of opportunity or any losses related to any business including (without limitation) lost data, earnings or business interruption that result from the use of, or the inability to use any E-Gift Card.
  • 3.9. Peter Millar reserve the right to amend these E-Gift Card Terms and Conditions from time to time.
  • 3.10. These E-Gift Card Terms and Conditions are governed by English law and are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts.
