Expensive - NOT WARM
The label inside the Blakely is misleading. It states "ultimate warmth" - but only if you live in Florida & need something for 60 degrees. There is NO fill in the quilting and there is zero warmth. The "lambswool" inside the collar is a decorative touch, but rubs the neck and is itchy. Anyone with sensitivity to wool would be bothered after 10 minutes wearing it against bare skin. The zipper is clunky.
If you're looking for a warm, functional quilted jacket - at a good price - seek an alternative from a major outerwear manufacturer. This jacket is strictly a fashion piece, not a functional piece of outerwear.

Pretty skimpy for $250
I was quite surprised at the size of the package in which my jacket arrived! Jacket is nice looking but just a wind breaker. 'Quilted' is a bit misleading as the fabric is top stitched but there is no filler between face and lining: it's flat. It remains to be seen how warm it will be...
